These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vesper platform (“Service”) during the beta period. By clicking “I Agree” or by using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.
Vesper is available only to licensed pet cremation operators in the United States and their authorised staff, and to vet clinic staff invited through the platform by a cremation operator. By signing up, you confirm that you operate (or work for) a licensed pet cremation business.
Beta access is by invitation only. Vesper may decline or revoke access at any time.
Case management with QR-based chain-of-custody tracking. Real-time pet owner status updates via SMS. Automated cremation certificate generation.
This is pre-release software. Features may be incomplete, change, or be removed. It is not yet suitable for use as a primary production system without a backup process.
Beta access is provided free of charge. No payment is required during the beta period. When the beta ends, continued access will require a paid subscription. This will be only after successful legal and commercial agreements between both parties.
Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to your cremation business. Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with anyone outside your team. Ensure that any pet owner data you enter is handled in compliance with applicable law. Provide honest feedback to help us improve the product — that is what the beta is for.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the platform or its underlying technology. Run security tests, penetration tests, or automated scripts against the platform without our written permission. Use the platform in a way that violates any law or regulation applicable to your cremation business. Share screenshots, feature descriptions, or assessments of the platform publicly without our permission.
You own your data. Vesper processes it only to operate the platform. We do not sell it or use it for any purpose not described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to enter any personal data (including pet owner information) into the platform. We recommend using test or anonymised data where possible during the beta.
If you stop using Vesper, you have 60 days to export your data. After that window, we delete it from our active systems.
Vesper owns the platform, its design, code, and all related intellectual property. Using the Service gives you a limited right to access it for your own business purposes — nothing more. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using Vesper.
We may use your business name and logo within the platform solely to deliver the Service to you (e.g., on the tracking page and cremation certificates).
The Service is provided “as is” during the beta period. Vesper makes no warranties about its reliability, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Your use of the beta platform is entirely at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vesper is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the platform — including loss of data or business interruption.
Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You can stop using Vesper at any time by emailing support@vesperpet.com.
Vesper may suspend or end your access immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or if we decide to close the beta. We will give you reasonable notice wherever possible.
When access ends, your 60-day data export window opens. After that, your data is deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vesper’s principal operating entity is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Once incorporation is finalised, this clause will be updated to name the specific jurisdiction, and users will be notified of any material change. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration, conducted in English. You and Vesper each waive the right to a class action.
We may update these Terms as the product develops. We will notify you of any material changes by email with at least 14 days’ notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Vesper after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
